Data Protection Officer
Your dedicated contact for data protection matters under Nigerian law
Last Updated: December 14, 2025
In compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, WAZOBIA Smartech LTD has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee data protection strategy and ensure compliance.
Important: We Do NOT Collect Your Data
WAZOBIA-invoice uses a Local-First, Privacy-by-Design architecture. This means:
- β’ All your business data (invoices, customers, inventory) is stored only on your device
- β’ WAZOBIA Smartech LTD does NOT collect, store, or have access to your business data
- β’ We cannot see your invoices, sales figures, or customer information
- β’ We only process minimal subscription data (device ID, payment reference) for license verification
Because we don't collect your data, many traditional DPO functions (like fulfilling data access requests for your business data) are not applicable β you already have full access and control of all your data on your device.
